Copuld you please tell me how can I change my handicap en the web data base? Ive changed it when introducing a scorecard but when I introduce a new one still showing the old one.

Hi Santi,

I know this should be updated automatically, but you still have to update it manually by editing your profile.
On the my account page, look for he "Edit profile" link. There you can update your handicap (and a few other profile info)

Hi math2k all i can find in the edit profile link is the line to edit the handicap that is shown on the community but it seems not to change the handicap for the new scorecards i try to create.

You are right. This is something I must have changed in the past but didn't remember it..

The handicap used when creating a new scorecard is the "new handicap" of the last scorecard (ordered by date). 33.6 in your case if I'm not mistaken.

If you don't have any official scorecard, then the value is taken from your forum profile.

Thank you, the problem is that after the oficial round the federation gives me a new handicap of 32.7. there is any chace to change it and save it?

If your new handicap is wrong for your latest official scorecard, could you check the received strokes, stroke index of the course and the course and slope rating to see if they match the official data ?

I don't think that the Spanish rules are different than the one implemented on ohmygolf (EGA Rules) so some data must be wrong somewhere.

As for new scorecards, although not very convenient, you can always override your starting handicap manually.
